According to 43 percent of people polled in a 2013 survey, typos and poor
grammer grammar are a turn off. In fact, more than one third of the 1,700 single adults surveyed said good grammar was a major turn on. Treat your messages like you’d treat a business email — be pithy and check for accuracy.
#3. NEW YORK AND D.C. IS A TOP SPOT FOR SINGLES
According to research from Match.com, New York City and Washington, D.C. have a 50 and 70 percent population of unmarried residents, respectively. The same research suggested that Idaho and Utah were basically the worst states ever for singles, with roughly 60 percent of the population being married in both spots.
