When Tom Cruise worked on the movie Edge of Tomorrow, also starring Emma Blunt, he insisted on filming an intense car chase, which put his life in real danger. Emma Blunt revealed during an interview with Conan that in one particular situation she was driving the stunt car, and Cruise sat in the passenger seat when she accidentally wrecked the car by hitting a tree. The car was wrecked, but both Cruise and Blunt survived. She also admitted that they both did most of the stunt work themselves.
