It’s never a good idea to spend hundreds of dollars on a girl that you’re not familiar with, especially on first dates. Before you know it, a $50 bottle of wine is sitting on the table along with two delicious lobsters and $20 salads. If one of you decides to leave, all of this will go to waste. Cheap first date ideas should always be in the forefront of your mind, no matter how attractive the woman is.
Pub and Grub
Instead of heading to a wine bar and restaurant, visit a local pub that serves food where you can sit down, relax and enjoy a pint of beer. Pubs are normally pretty cheap, the food isn’t bad and the music is quiet enough for the two of you to have a conversation.
Take a Hike
Hikes are great cheap first date ideas. If she’s hungry, just head to your local cafe for a coffee and sandwich before hitting the trail. Your total date costs should be about $40, including gas. If you choose this first date idea, make sure you don’t take her to any place that will creep her out.
