Mancations: Vacations for Men
No girls allowed…until you reach your destination, that is.
By Jonathan Hackman
Going on vacation is certainly something that men love to do as it gives them a break from their day-to-day routines. When you want some fun and intriguing vacations for men, what are a few options you can begin exploring?
An Outdoor Adventure
If you truly love the great outdoors, then you can look into hiking or going on a mountain climb. You might even want to camp. Camping is a way to explore the great outdoors and still have some modern amenities, depending upon which campsite you choose to visit. Sports camps for adults have the potential to be a lot of fun as well.
Throughout the country, you’ll find casinos opening their doors to people who want to go on vacation. Whether you decide to stay at a casino resort itself or go to a hotel that is nearby, plenty of fun can be had. These resorts are homes to clubs, bars, pools and plenty of gambling.
You may have an image of what a stereotypical guys’ vacation should be, but you do not always have to follow the rules. Rent a house out on the beach for a few days in the summer. For married men, you could even take your sons along with you for fun on the beach.
Vacations for men aren’t hard to plan. Whether you’ve always dreamed of sailing to a deserted island or you’re looking to recreate scenes from The Hangover in Thailand, grab your buddies (or go solo, if you’re feeling adventurous) and hop on a flight. Or a boat. Or a bus. Or your own man-made raft.
