You already have something in common: a friend. Be on the lookout for solo women at get-togethers with friends you already have, especially with those friends who are already in relationships. Girlfriends of your buddies are sure to know some single ladies. Be careful to get to know the girl a little bit before going out with her. You want to make sure she’s someone you could see yourself dating before risking a potentially awkward situation at future social events.
This is a great answer to the question, “Where to meet single women?” If you don’t have your own dog, offer to walk a friend’s. Women can’t resist a cute pup, and it’ll give you a way to naturally approach her (if she doesn’t approach your wingman first). This is also a great way to weed out the crazy cat ladies.
Rather than just taking the standard match.com route, try meetup.com. It’s an online community for those with similar interests to, well…meet up. If you’re wondering where to meet single women, whether you love wine, good books, or running at night, there’s probably a group for you.
