Sometimes it’s cool to be retro. It means you do stuff like hold doors open for women, take off your hat when you sit down at the dinner table, wear sportcoats without silk-screened dragons, and tirelessly campaign for the United States to return to the gold standard.
One thing you don’t want to be retro? Your gadgets. No matter how nostalgic you are for the good ol’ days, you have to admit that DVRs trump VCRs, LaserDiscs are too damned big (even if they do sound totally awesome in a Tron kind of way) and that, come to think of it, new Tron looks way better than old Tron.
