Shtick: This grocer Gestapo of bath-aisle molestation waited in the shadows for curious house fraus to test the softness of Charmin bath tissue. Then he would admonish them by exhorting, “Please don’t squeeze the Charmin!” before hypocritically stealing away to paw at the toilet paper himself in private. Now that we think about it, this guy was a complete deviant.
Fun Fact: Dick Wilson, the only actor ever to play Whipple, appeared in more than 500 commercials as the character.
