Who Ran It?
In the championship game — which are all over this list, by the way — Coach Boone (Denzel Washington) calls this play at the advice from former Titan’s head coach ( and white dude) Coach Yoast (Will Patton). The collaboration marks the film’s racial undertones, as does the implementation of the play, which sees white and black players working together to achieve a common goal.
Does It Work?
As a yardage gainer, it’s certainly effective, but not exactly revolutionary. It is, however, the only play on this list that eliminated racism.
