Video: Earthquake Rattles News Anchors

Earthquakes hit in and around Los Angeles often. (See the pic below the GIF to check just how often they occur in a six-day span.) Thankfully these quakes aren’t of the “holy shit!” variety that have rocked places like Japan, Haiti, or Chili in recent memory. But they’re still there.

According to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. should expect a 4.4-sized earthquake about once a year, but L.A. has been on a two-year drought. So when a 4.4 quake rattled L.A. on March 17, 2014, it caught a lot of people by surprise — including anchor Chris Schauble, who gave the best reaction.
