Though there was talk of Hall being chosen as the new host for The Tonight Show, the job goes to Jay Leno, which also makes David Letterman just slightly annoyed. Hall vows to “kick Jay’s ass” in the ratings game. And by that, he apparently means, “get cancelled two years from now” (Spoiler alert.)
