“You Meet The Nicest People on a Honda” was the slogan the company used in the ’60s and ’70s to sell motorcycles. And that’s the chillaxed vibe behind the Honda Heritage Collection, a new line of duds celebrating Honda’s California roots.
Okay, yes, Honda is a Japanese company. But its first American foothold was in Los Angeles, and much of the throwback clothing reflects that — some even sports the Pico Blvd. address of Honda’s first office. Currently the collection offers up a selection of classic T-shirts, but more clothing (including women’s stuff) will be available this summer.
