The Walking Dead graphic novels spawned a handful of great zombie monikers — walkers, biters, roamers, etc.. but it also treated them as more realistic beings on the hit TV show. As the walkers were exposed to the elements, such as the sun, and suffered through harsh winters, their flesh showed their wear.
