CHIN-UP
Chin-ups can help you carve that “V look” by developing your lats. Bonus: Chins also help tighten up your mid section. If you’re unable to perform one rep with proper form — without spastically kipping your legs or swinging your hips to move your chin past the bar — use a lat pulldown machine or the assisted chin-up/pull-up machine.
How to do it:
• Grab a chin-up bar with a supinated grip (that’s the fancy term for when your hands face your body); hang there.
• With your arms fully extended, pull yourself up in a controlled manner until your chin reaches the bar.
• Slowly descent to the starting position and repeat.
