Video: Time-Lapse Of Earth From 250 Miles Up

Alexander Gerst, an astronaut at the European Space Agency released a time-lapse video from the International Space Station as it flew over Brazil and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s pretty amazing footage — like, not as cool as Gravity or whatever, but still pretty cool.

Oh, and if you’re wondering what that bright light is at the end of the video the answer is obvious — it’s a tractor beam from an extraterrestrial life form that captured the astronauts and has since held them ransom. What else could it be?
