Look, we get it: Lois Lane is smart, sexy, driven, and scrappy. But by mixing work and pleasure, Superman opens up an eternal can of worms. When he isn’t having to save her in the nick of time (or having to literally change Earth’s axis and rewind time for a do-over when he’s too late), he’s constantly sweating about her figuring out his secret identity (thank you, all-purpose glasses!). It would be so much easier if he dated someone who, like, worked in an ad firm downtown or something. Just for some distance.
4. MAN CAVES ARE A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT
Yes, even Superman needs his “me” time. And while you may not have an arctic Fortress of Solitude base you can fly off to when you’ve had enough of mewling humans and intrepid girlfriends, you do have your basement and your Xbox — and that’s as it should be. Even Kryptonians know what’s up.
