10 Fake Bands We Wish Were Real

THE PINHEADS | BACK TO THE FUTURE
The Pinheads’ Battle of the Bands tryout was cut short when a judge who looked just like one of the terrorists in Die Hard told them their cover of Huey Lewis and The News’s “Power of Love” was “just too darn loud.” But at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, when Marty McFly and the Starlighters bust out “Johnny B. Good,” we were convinced once again that McFly had the goods to shred Hill Valley High in ’85. However, if the Pinheads were to reunite, we’d push to hear their original tunes, like “Remember When We Tongue Kissed, Mom?”, “Mad Dog Tannen: Eat Shit and Die,” and “Doing Jen In The DeLorean.”
