Stunt: Six-minute underwater scene.
Another insane stunt Tom Cruise managed to get done in Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is diving under water. Now, the initial plan in that scene was for Tom to dive without a scuba tank and to hold his breath for 3 minutes. Mind you, things get complicated and the scene has Tom stuck underwater for closer to 6 minutes. Medical assistance during filming was on hand to help just in case, albeit the actor stunt coordinator admitted that Cruise did everything on his own and managed to stay underwater for around 6 minutes.
