FIRST RESPONDERS GET TREATED LIKE NO. 2 (2011)
New York first responders — you know, the people who rushed to the Twin Towers to help victims — were prevented from attending the 2011 Sept. 11 memorial ceremony at Ground Zero because of “space constraints.” Mayor Michael Bloomberg said the plan was to recognize their efforts at a later date and time; good thing the 3,000 or so first responders didn’t do the same on 9/11.
