Erica applied too much wax to the area, which meant we had to do this twice to get the excess wax off. After round two, the skin that used to be covered by hair felt like scorched earth. Still, the most painful thing may have come later, when I had to rip out the tiny gobs of wax that were still lodged inside of my belly button.
