#1. ARMPIT HAIR
Watch the video. Now watch it again, paying close attention to the ripping noise toward the end of Erica’s pull. That’s the sound of hundreds of long pit hairs being uprooted from my skin. The piercing pain was so debilitating that it left me unable to speak for a minute or so. (I could still hear Erica laughing though.) And unfortunately that initial twinge wasn’t all I experienced; for days my underarm was so sore and irritated that I didn’t even try to use deodorant.
