“I went to bartending school many moons ago,” says Lamberti. “I really enjoyed it and took away a great deal. We would all benefit from more cocktail knowledge and acumen. Unfortunately there is no industry standard certification program. BAR (Beverage Alcohol Resource) offers a great sommelier type program once a year, but I think the industry would greatly benefit from more standardized training options.”
