GPS Defense Sniper School ($220 per day for most programs)
The GPS Defense School, which has operated for 12 years in Scottsdale, Arizona, teaches both military and law enforcement tactical shooting skills and runs what they call “the most comprehensive sniper school in the country.” Disciplines include Sniper/Counter Sniper, Advanced Sniper, Sniper Instructor Development, and Special Purpose Rifle courses. The basic program, Sniper/Counter Sniper, which is a prerequisite for many of the other programs, instructs enrollees on basic ballistics, marksmanship, slings and position shooting, extreme angle shooting, urban hides, moving targets and unknown distance ranges. Once you master that 101 stuff, you can move on to specifics. Fire away.
