The Worst “Part 3” Movies Ever Made

SCREAM 3 (2000)
Writer Kevin “Dawson’s Creek” Williamson penned the first Scream (1996) as a kind of “fuck you” to how lazy horror movies had gotten. It was great. Scream 2 did more of the same, shored up some scares, and offered a humorous twist on horror-movie sequels. Scream 3 was trite, lazy, and forced. (How else do you explain a character who died in the second film showing up via video cassette to deliver warnings?). This movie had  too much “comedy” and too little story. Scream 4, however, is pretty good.
