Remember Mr. Wizard? If you don’t, your parents do. Mr. Wizard, aka Don Herbert, taught millions of children all about science on a few different TV shows that spanned five decades. (The most recent was Mr. Wizard’s World, which was on the air from 1983 to 1990.)

He always seemed like a friendly sort of guy, what with his willingness to share his beakers and chemical reagents and whatnot with youngsters. But as this video reveals, he was actually kind of a dick to some of the kids. Not that they didn’t deserve it. Nerds!
