GIN
Gin comes in many varieties — London Dry, Plymouth, New Western — and each label boasts its own specific blend of a half dozen or more botanicals, though by definition they all contain juniper berries. So while gin isn’t as neutral as vodka, it still lends itself to some great cocktails, especially this classic, which is perfect for summer.
Gin Rickey
1 part gin
1/4 part fresh lime juice
Club soda
Combine lime juice and gin in a Collins glass. Top with club soda to taste. Garnish with lime wedge.
