Unlike later Star Fox releases, the OG Star Fox features Fox with robotic legs — his real legs seemingly were amputated by … well, it’s never explained. In later games, Fox is simply wearing boots. Worse yet, they’re not even high-end boots. They’re, like, Payless specials or something. Lame.
