#5. Avoid Processed Foods
Stay away, or at least limit intake, of processed foods. In fact, stay away from them. They’re full of fillers, preservatives, and other ingredients that disrupt the natural flora and fauna of the digestive system, leading to inflammatory reactions. Plus, your body doesn’t know how to process many of those synthetic foods, so along with treating your stomach poorly, you’re not doing your gut any favors, either.
#6. Drink Caffeine & Green Tea
Studies have shown that caffeine is not only a diuretic, but also a good laxative that helps promote regular bowel movements. The average male should consume at least 200 mg of caffeine to help promote regular bowel movements.
#7. Reduce Food Allergies
Food allergies lead to all type of inflammatory responses, including constipation and irregular bowel movements. Temporarily eliminating certain foods like dairy, wheat and legumes will show individuals that food groups are contributing to constipation and irregular bowel movements.
