2. MORE SUPER CLEAN-UP
One of the hidden gems on The Avengers DVD was a “Marvel One-Shot” short film called Item 47 (partial clip above), which followed a couple of petty thieves who stumble upon an alien weapon left behind after the battle of New York. It presented a unique counterpoint to the typical superhero movie — what happens after the big battle when people need to pick up the pieces?
We know AoS will take place in a post-Avengers world and focus on humans, not super heroes. But we hope they don’t skip ahead too far and gloss over great story lines like this.
