Why Every Big Summer Movie
Is Going To Suck

THE GREAT GATSBY (MAY 10)
Think about it: The concept of this movie sounds like an ill-fated fictional movie being made in a movie that’s making fun of the movie industry: “It’s the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel critiquing the moral bankruptcy of America’s socioeconomic elite during the early 1920s … IN SPECTACULAR 3D!” Also, the project is helmed by Baz Luhrmann, the wacky Aussie who made 19th Century Parisian prostitutes and drug addicts sing Beatles songs in Moulin Rouge.
