David Boreanaz Charmed the Ladies And Got the Part
When they were shooting the series, actor David Boreanaz wasn’t very well known, apart from getting minor credit for a role in Married with Children. Series director Joss Whedon, claims that the reaction from all the ladies in the room when Boreanaz auditioned was what really got him the part. For David, this TV show marked a turning point in his acting career, as he assumed the role of Buffy’s wisecracking sidekick. He did such a good job, that it actually landed him his own spinoff, called Angel.
